Scouts from English clubs set to attend Rangers v Aberdeen SPFL clash
There will reportedly be scouts in attendance from English clubs in the Championship when Rangers take on Aberdeen in the SPFL on 20 December.
According to Herald Sport journalist Chris Jack, they’re expected to be there to see former Gers defender Ross McCrorie who parted ways with the club in 2021.
He’s now being looked at by teams south of the border due to his tremendous run of form and they will send representatives to see him in the flesh.

Right call
McCrorie has certainly improved since leaving Rangers but that does not mean that the club made the wrong decision to let him go.
Even now, it’s not any Premier League club that’s showing an interest in him as it’s all Championship clubs.
Had there been interest from England’s top flight, eyebrows would’ve been raised and there would be fingers pointed behind the scenes at Ibrox.
If he was still at Rangers, he would find game time hard to come by so it was the right decision to part ways and we’ll be keeping a close eye on how he fares against his former club.
He’s still only 24 and even though he’s no longer at Ibrox, he’s an academy product and we wish he does well in his career.
He surely would want to make his senior Scotland debut having featured for them at numerous age groups since he was a 14-year-old.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has savaged a senior player at Ibrox after what he saw him do this month.
