Michael Beale likely to be keen on Rangers January transfer move for Brighton striker Deniz Undav
Michael Beale could reportedly be keen on bringing Brighton striker Deniz Undav to Rangers over the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Record [12 December], with Alfredo Morelos’ future up in the air, Undav is likely to be on Beale’s radar.
Should the Colombian move to Gers, a move to Ibrox could be on the cards for the £6million summer signing from Union Saint-Gilloise.

Decent move
Morelos’ future needs to be sorted out in the coming weeks as they cannot allow him to leave for free at the end of the season.
He’s still not in his prime and a decent-stature club would be keen on signing him in January if Gers are willing to do a deal.
Undav would be a decent option for Beale, even though the 26-year-old has not enjoyed the best of starts to life in the Premier League.
Brighton saw the German being a replacement and perhaps an upgrade on Neal Maupay who left for Everton, but he’s struggled to make an impact.
Signing Undav would make a lot of sense for Beale as he’s not just a penalty box striker, but someone who can run all over the pitch and get others involved in the game.
Braking the Lines did an analysis on him in June 2022, writing, “He is an excellent technician capable of dropping into pockets all across the final third to progress the ball into dangerous situations. This suits Potter’s Brighton with their fluid, intelligent attacking system.”
Beale is someone who would want a fluid front three as well at Rangers and he could play a system in which both Undav and Antonio Colak are starting together.
