Brighton striker Deniz Undav contract situation may appeal to Rangers in January transfer window
Rangers could reportedly consider a loan move for Brighton striker Deniz Undav despite his move to the south coast this summer.
According to the Daily Record [12 December], the fact that he has a contract until 2026 at the Amex Stadium may appeal to Gers as they could look to sign him on a temporary basis.
The German striker is likely to be on Michael Beale’s radar as the club will be looking to back him if he wants new signings in the window.

Worth it?
Brighton’s scouting department is exceptional and if they thought Undav was good then there certainly is something to the player.
However, every now and then, even they make mistakes and it seems that the 26-year-old is not cut out for the Premier League yet.
Signing him on a loan move would not be the worst thing in the world, especially if there are strikers that are likely to be available in the summer.
Alfredo Morelos’ future is up in the air and if he does sign a new deal, there are no chance Rangers sign another first-team striker in January.
That’s why it’s imperative for the club to first sort out the Colombian’s future and do that as soon as possible as January signings require planning.
If Beale is convinced that he’s got the right attitude, then it makes sense to keep him, but the chances of that happening are highly unlikely as things stand.
