Kyle Fox can complete transfer for Nicolas Raskin to celebrate potential Rangers takeover
Kyle Fox can follow a possible Rangers takeover by completing a transfer for Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin who the club made a move for on deadline day, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
Fox has reportedly reignited her interest in the takeover of Rangers with agreements in place to see her become the majority shareholder at Ibrox. [Daily Record]
The injection of cash Fox would bring into the club could tie in perfectly with a move for wantaway Liege midfielder Raskin who is eager for a move to play in England.

“The terms of departure of Nicolas Raskin, who has never hidden that he wanted to leave Sclessin to take up another challenge abroad, in England, as he hopes.” as quoted by Le Soir.
Whether Rangers launch a move for Raskin in January or summer could depend on how bullish Fox is with her takeover attempts of the Scottish club.

Hand in hand.
A Fox takeover of Rangers could go hand in hand with Raskin wanting to leave Liege for a challenge abroad and the Gers must capitalise on this.
This one still relies on everything falling into place but the fact Rangers made an attempt for Raskin on deadline day suggests there have been discussions in place for a while.
There was a contract ready and waiting on the table, why it wasn’t signed remains a mystery but it was probably Rangers’ tight purse-stringed owners who weren’t offering Raskin a worthy contract.
This is something Fox would look to avoid and her ownership would bring a new influx of money into the club that could offer talents better wages and deals.
Standard Liege and Raskin seem to have had enough of one another and the midfielder is crying out for a team to come and save him from Belgium.
Tie that in with the fact he wants a move abroad to these isles specifically is all the juice needed for Rangers to make this move if Fox comes and takes over at the club.
