Giovanni van Bronckorst could banish Alfredo Morelos in last move before Rangers sack

Giovanni van Bronckhorst is hanging on to his Rangers job, even if he is still in charge at Ibrox when club football returns after the World Cup.

The Daily Record has reported that the Bears are unlikely to press the panic button over the break, with the Dutchman likely to be in charge against Hibernian.

Even though many believe it should have happened already, it looks as though defeat in that first game would surely be the final nail in the coffin if this is the case.

With January quickly approaching after the World Cup too, all eyes will be on transfers alongside the future of Van Bronckhorst who will want a say on things if he is around.

Exits may take centre stage to solve some of these contract situations, with Alfredo Morelos one who could move on, or be shown the back door as he currently holidays in South America.

Fanatik has reported this week that Van Bronckhorst has offered the striker to Fenerbahce as he looks to move him on and get rid as soon as possible.

Get rid.

Watching Morelos in that 1-1 draw with St Mirren, it was very clear to us all that he had already checked out with the effort simply minimal and rubbish.

Rangers are in trouble right now, and they needed the Bufalo that has dragged them out of these problems in years gone by. something that couldn’t look further away right now.

With his contract running out in the summer, the same as Ryan Kent, if you could only keep one right now, it would be the winger who has been yet again the man to drag us forward.

In that case, Morelos needs to go in January to get some sort of cash.

Van Bronckhorst is on the edge of the sack, even if it doesn’t happen immediately, and given he has made contact with Fenerbahce, banishing the Colombian could be the final thing he does at Ibrox.
