Rangers must sell Alfredo Morelos now as he breaks trust – Pundit
Former Celtic player Peter Grant has put Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos on blast, claiming the club and Giovanni van Bronckhorst can’t trust him.
Morelos has been in and out of the squad with injuries and put in a woeful outing in the 1-1 against St. Mirren on Saturday 12 November 2022.
Grant raised the question as to whether van Bronckhorst can “trust” the Columbian anymore and confessed that it’s time he finally leaves Rangers for good.

“If he’s letting the team down and the club down, I think that’s the most important thing because can I trust him again if he hasn’t done what he was supposed to have done and what we have seen since,” said Grant speaking on the Go Radio Football Show as quoted by the Daily Record.
“For me, I’d have probably said he’s got to go.”

Facts.
Unfortunately, Grant is spitting facts here, Morelos looks overweight, off the pace and not fit of wearing a Light Blue shirt at the moment.
It’s a shame that the once talismanic striker is ending his time at Ibrox like this, but he’s undeserving of a contract extension on recent form.
Antonio Colak stepped in during his absence early season, however, since he joined a host of names on the sidelines, Morelos has done little to stake his claim.
There was an option of playing the two forwards together at one point but the Columbian has done little to warrant changing the team’s tactics towards accommodating him.
Morelos’ performance against St. Mirren was extremely bad, misplaced passes combined with a lack of enthusiasm to win was infuriating to witness.
Times up for the old bull, Rangers need some fresh ideas and legs up top to partner Colak, Morelos has proven he isn’t the man to do so.
In other Rangers news, van Bronckhorst has been involved in a bust-up with a senior player.
