Rangers employee thrilled as footage emerges from Ibrox in 4-1 win v Aberdeen
Rangers shared footage from their 4-1 win against Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon after John Lundstram found the back of the net.
Gordon Sommerville, who works for Rangers TV, captured the video and also the sound made by the home fans after the goal was struck.
Lundstram’s effort found the back of the net just at the stroke of half-time, with the final two goals coming in the second half.
Via Twitter, Sommerville wrote, “Enjoyed filming this on Saturday! Brilliant performance from the team.”
Stunning win
After going down in the game, fans surely would’ve feared for the worst as things have not gone to plan for Rangers this season.
They have often struggled to get out of second gear and not won games that they should be winning with relative ease.
Lundstram’s goal, eased some nerves and certainly helped out Giovanni van Bronckhorst with his team talk at the break.
It would’ve been a lot sterner had the scoreline been level at half-time but this goal gave the hosts some breathing room.
As expected, they came out strongly in the second half and blew Aberdeen off the park with the fans certainly playing their part as they were loud as ever and scored every goal with the eleven players on the pitch.
