Giovanni van Bronckhorst opens up on Rangers January transfer plans
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is hoping to get back some of his key players back before January which could shape Rangers winter transfer window.
The Gers are missing several key players, especially at the back, and the club could be forced into making new addition in January to bolster the squad.
After their poor performance in Europe this season, Rangers give their everything to challenge Celtic all the way to the Scottish Premiership title this season.

“As I said before, we are missing a lot of players now who are injured. Hopefully, we can welcome some injured players back by the time the window opens. We have to be ready for whatever happens but it also depends on how many players we have back from injury,” said Van Bronckhorst, as quoted by Rangers Review.
Future
The recent results have been very poor and the Gers have been below standard, especially in Europe.
Nobody expected them to progress to the next round, but the manner of the defeats gave a clear picture of the gulf in qualities with other European clubs.
However, Van Bronckhorst won’t be judged on the basis of European performances. The worrying results in the league and the lackluster performances to go with it are really hurting everyone.
There are even suggestions that the Dutchman may not last till January if the results do not improve.

Rangers do need to bolster their squad in January, and Van Bronckhorst needs to make smart additions. His transfer record is dicey to be fair, and proper planning is required.
Adding a new defender could be a priority for the club, but there are other issues the Bears need to sort out. The contract situations of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent needed to be sorted, while the club could look to sign another striker as well.
In other Rangers news, Carlton Palmer has tipped this exciting player to join Ibrox in January.
