Charlie Nicholas has branded Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst as weak and admits he is worried by the manager’s latest press conference comments.
It’s been a tough start to the season for the Dutchman and despite challenging on a domestic front, European humiliation has cast doubt over his leadership.
Nicholas confessed that he thinks the fans and the board have every right to question what is happening and why he isn’t getting the best out of his squad.

“The club’s board and fans are well within their rights to ask why he isn’t getting better performances out of his players,” said Nicholas as quoted by the Daily Record.
“Van Bronckhorst has come across as weak in public recently. His press conference comments have been worrying.”

Change.
Nicholas is right on this one, Van Bronckhorst has been shot of confidence recently in press conferences and this mood seems to be translating onto the pitch.
Boos continue to wreak havoc in Ibrox and around away grounds the team visit at the moment, a sign that things may be coming to an end for the Rangers boss.
Van Bronckhorst requires a miracle to turn this around and it feels like everyone is counting down the days until he is relinquished of his duties.
The team’s football and tactics have become frail and feeble and the Dutchman is simply one of a number of problems at Ibrox at the minute.
Questions also need to be asked of the club’s hierarchy and recruiting system which continues to fail season upon season, never more so than this campaign.
A big change is needed at Rangers and this starts with the sacking of Van Bronckhorst, the fans have already turned on him and it seems the players are too.
