Jeff Stelling predicts Napoli v Rangers and Celtic v Shakhtar Donetsk for Sky Sports in Champions League
Jeff Stelling has backed Rangers to fall to another big defeat in their Champions League showdown against Napoli on Wednesday 26th October.
The Sky Sports host has predicted that it will finish 3-0 to the Italians in Naples, as Giovanni van Bronckhorst prepares to skate on thin ice.
Stelling has backed Liverpool to draw with Ajax and therefore qualify for the group stages, leaving the Gers and the Dutch club to fight it out for that third spot.

Writing in his snippet for Sky Sports’ Super 6 this week, Stelling went through six selected fixtures before making his picks for the likes of Rangers and Celtic.
“There are only four points separating the four teams in Tottenham’s Champions League group, although I think they will end the night with a place in the round of 16 secured, picking up a narrow win against Sporting Lisbon,” he wrote.
“Elsewhere, Manchester City will earn a point in Germany against Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool will qualify for the knockout stages with a point against Ajax.”

Expected?
Although highly unlikely, Rangers could still have the door opened to the Europa League this season.
If Liverpool beat Ajax on Wednesday 26th October and the Bears do not somehow lose in Italy, then it would all come down to that final showdown at Ibrox for third place.
After this disastrous return to the Champions League, this has to be viewed as a huge positive and the motivation going forward in these final two games.
No one said it was ever going to be easy, with Napoli currently the best team in Europe based on form alone, so many fans are expecting another battering.
Could this spell the end for Van Bronckhorst? It is very possible.
The 1-1 draw with Livingston did himself no favours with the team simply looking void of any fresh ideas in the same boring old tactic each week – the time for change is coming, the only question is when?
