Tam McManus predicts outcome of Rangers clash v Livingston
Rangers will take on Livingston in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday (22 October) and Tam McManus has predicted a “narrow win” for the home side.
McManus said that the visitors could cause an “upset”, but he still thinks the Bears should be able to pull this off.
Speaking to PLZ Soccer (21 October), the former Hibernian player has predicted a 2-1 win for the home side, who are struggling a bit with consistency.

“I think there could be an upset here,” said McManus on PLZ Soccer.
“I would go for Rangers to win, 2-1, but it’s going to be a narrow win.”
When told that’s not upset, MacManus added: “I know…but it could be.”
Improvement
Since the 7-1 humiliating defeat, it seems the Bears have steadied the ship again. They have picked up two wins in a row in all competitions.
However, the worrying sign is the performances have been below par. It feels like the Gers are somehow managing to get a scrappy win, which isn’t bad though.
Picking up points when you’re not playing well is a sign of a great team, but these are the games the Bears should win quite comfortably, considering the quality of players they possess.

Van Bronckhorst appears to be really struggling at the moment. There’s no proper identity, and his team selections have come into question this season.
It gives the impression that he is not sure about his best starting line-up, although it must be said that the likes of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos have been equally disappointing.
At home, the Gers are a different beast. At the moment, a mere victory is not enough. The Bears need to do it in some style as well to boost their confidence.
