Confirmed Rangers starting XI v Livingston in Scottish Premiership

Rangers have confirmed their starting XI for the Scottish Premiership clash against Livingston on Saturday 22nd October at Ibrox.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst is still under severe pressure from the home crowd, with VAR also in action for the first time in a domestic clash for the Bears.

As confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, Rangers have made numerous changes with the likes of Ryan Kent and Antonio Colak coming back into the side.

This isn’t just a must-win fixture for the Bears.

Van Bronckhorst will be making the message very clear that his side needs to go out there and put as many past Livingston as they possibly can.

Not only does he need to prove his system has not grown stale to the fans, but to the board and to himself with many questions being raised in recent weeks and months.

Boos and jeers came from the stands last time out in that Premier Sports Cup win over Dundee, with the fans simply not happy after a simply lacklustre display.

When you’re not dominating second-tier teams like that at home with some of the big names on show, there has to be something wrong, and it may well be the formation and tactics.

There are plenty of this squad that need to prove themselves before the World Cup, and winning every game until then in fashion would be the perfect start to that.
