Leanne Crichton believes Rangers forward Malik Tillman does not work hard enough
Leanne Crichton believes Rangers playmaker Malik Tillman doesn’t work hard enough for the team and should be dropped against Livingston.
The Rangers playmaker scored a fantastic goal on Sunday afternoon but that wasn’t enough to keep him safe from Crichton’s rath.
The BBC pundit labelled the forward as “lazy” and claims he doesn’t work hard enough for the team despite scoring a wonderful solo effort against Motherwell.

“I know you need to manage your squad and keep players fit and hungry and involved but there’s also players there like Tillman. He scored a brilliant goal at the weekend but for me, I don’t know how he starts the following game,” she said speaking on the Go Radio Football Show.
“It’s because there’s nobody knocking on the door putting him under pressure and that’s just to name one player who jumps out to me. He flatters to deceive.
“I don’t think he works hard enough and I listened to the commentary of the game at the weekend and it was described as his style. To me it looks lazy, he doesn’t run off the ball, doesn’t move and doesn’t work hard enough.
“Then he waltzes past five players as if they don’t exist. If you can do that once you should be able to do that seven, eight, nine or 10 times in a game.”

Debatable.
The Bayern Munich loanee missed a few major opportunities on goal in the first half of action on Sunday afternoon and his misfiring form looked set to continue.
Nevertheless, a magnificent goal in the second half from a dazzling solo effort was enough to say the youngster had a solid outing.
This was Tillman’s third goal since joining Gers in the summer and whilst the 20-year-old hasn’t hit the heights fans expected him to, he hasn’t done badly either.
To say he didn’t deserve to start against Dundee is debatable, after the glimpse of absolute brilliance he showed against Motherwell he was certainly up there for a starting spot.
The whole squad is looking out of sorts at the moment and to pinpoint Tillman as the major culprit in it just isn’t right.
It’s fair to say that Rangers looked sluggish against Dundee and deserved the booing from fans they received at Ibrox but Tillman provides a creative spark that the team currently misses.
