Questions remain over Giovanni van Bronckhorst as Rangers look to rebuild trust

Questions still remain over the head of Giovanni van Bronckhorst as Rangers look for more sustained consistency in all competitions, according to Four Lads Had a Dream.

The official club media partner has insisted that while the Bears are looking to rebuild trust with everyone, things are starting to look brighter on and off the pitch.

Rangers have opened new lines of communication with fans as well as the continued work to facilities around Ibrox which are only going to help matters.

Writing in their latest blog post, Four Lads shared the small changes that are taking the club in the right direction with just some consistency needed now.

“So whilst we won’t get carried away, at least there is reasons to be positive,” they wrote.

“I want Van Bronckhorst to succeed and he’s a likeable guy, questions will remain however until that sustained consistency comes. It starts Wednesday as we welcome Liverpool and a fighting performance has to be the minimum.

“A consistent Rangers and a communicating club then all of a sudden things will look a lot brighter for everyone. It’s small steps to recover everyone’s trust on and off the park, but the base is there and there’s positivity no matter how small.”

Consistency.

That is all we ask for on and off the pitch at Ibrox.

Last season, not only did we see results in Europe but we saw that fight and passion which appears to have gone out of the window in the Champions League this time around.

After fighting so hard to get back to the biggest stage, we have seen poor performances and Van Bronckhorst admitting his side cannot realistically compete – nonsense.

The least you can do is compete, it’s exactly what we did against Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig last season so there are no excuses in our eyes.

With the constant Ibrox upgrades and the work being done to Edmiston House, things off the pitch are looking very good right now and long may that continue.

Communication is critical though, and something we haven’t seen in the past so hopefully if that continues, we can all look forward to a very bright future.
