Jeff Stelling predicts Rangers showdown v Liverpool in Champions League for Sky Sports
Jeff Stelling has backed Liverpool to beat Rangers when they meet at Ibrox in the Champions League on Wednesday evening (12 October).
The Sky Sports host has predicted that it will once again finish 2-0 to the English giants, just as it did in the reverse fixture last week at Anfield.
Rangers are yet to pick up a single point in Group A, and will realistically need three points here to even think about finishing third and dropping into the Europa League.

Writing in his latest predictions for Sky Sports’ Super 6, Stelling didn’t hold out much hope for the Bears despite having that home backing in midweek.
“I expect Liverpool to beat Rangers by the same scoreline they did at Anfield, and will put Jurgen Klopp’s side in a much better position to qualify from their group,” he wrote.
“Tottenham will earn an important three points at home to Frankfurt in the context of their group, while Chelsea will get beat in Milan.”

Must Win?
That is the message that Giovanni van Bronckhorst has to be getting across to his players this week.
Forget about all that nonsense of coming out to the press and admitting that his side cannot compete, he has to make them ready to run through walls on Wednesday.
Liverpool are obviously a top-class opponent, but they are reeling right now and will have to put up with so many injuries in their squad ahead of this one.
The last place you want to be going with half of your squad missing is a packed-out Ibrox that will be rocking on every tackle, mistake and misplaced pass when they haven’t been playing consistently.
Luis Diaz, Joel Matip and Trent Alexander-Arnold were added to their injury list over the weekend after the defeat against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp will speak up his players, but it is down to Rangers to get in their faces and make them wish they were still on the bench with a new-look side ahead of them.
Bring it on – we have nothing to lose.
