Giovanni van Bronckhorst set to rest players for Rangers clash v St Mirren – BBC
Giovanni van Bronckhorst may be set to ring the changes for Rangers in their Scottish Premiership clash against St Mirren on Saturday (09 October).
That’s according to the BBC, who have shared the early team news with the clash sandwiched between two games against Liverpool in the Champions League.
The Bears looked tired at Anfield, which was easy to see as the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent struggled, meaning a spot on the bench may be awaiting to recharge.

Writing in their latest piece for their Scottish Premiership picks, the BBC have shared what could happen with the squad as changes are expected.
“Liverpool were quicker and stronger than Rangers all over the pitch and manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst may want to rest some weary legs ahead of the return game in Glasgow next week,” they wrote.

Needed.
There are so many members of this squad that will be raring to go and get a chance to prove themselves.
We will most likely see the usual main men like James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and John Lundstram in the side, but everyone else could see their spots up for grabs.
The likes of Ridvan Yilmaz, Fashion Sakala and Glen Kamara will be chomping at the bit to get in the side, and now is the perfect time to do that.
It was poor viewing at Anfield, and the squad look knackered and we can’t afford for that to happen again if we want to keep up our league form as well as that in Europe.
Van Bronckhorst can not complain about having little money to spend in the market but then never play those who he did bring in over the summer, or that would just contradict Ross Wilson and his role.
Three points are all that matter, let’s get it done.
