Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos to be dropped – Predicted Rangers starting XI v St Mirren

Rangers return to action in the Scottish Premiership this weekend as they look to continue their strong league form against St Mirren at Ibrox.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has plenty of decisions to be made with the clash sandwiched between the Champions League showdowns against Liverpool.

After chasing the ball around Anfield to little success, multiple changes will surely be made to hand some much-needed rest to some of the big names at Ibrox.

Allan McGregor will keep his spot as he becomes untouchable once again, despite the huge error made with Jon McLaughlin at the start of the season.

James Tavernier and Connor Goldson will keep their spots as the defence changes around them, with James Sands the first to come back into the back four.

Ridvan Yilmaz will finally get another chance to shine too, with the Turkish international not having enough chances to make a stake for his spot with Borna Barisic ahead of him.

John Lundstram, as always, will fill that central holding role as he looks to get back to his dominating ways.

It is all change in midfield and attack as well, with Glen Kamara coming in after what feels like weeks without seeing him start despite all of his quality on show.

Alongside him will be Scott Arfield as the Bears expect to dominate the ball once again throughout the side, as Rabbi Matondo will get chances to prove his skill and worth out wide.

One of the biggest changes will be Ryan Kent dropping to the bench, and with the winger crying out for a rest, there will be no better time than now as Fashion Sakala comes in.

Alfredo Morelos will be on the bench alongside him too, as Antonio Colak gets the chance to continue his brilliant goalscoring start to the Scottish Premiership season.
