Lorenzo Amoruso shares ‘big problem’ with Rangers side
Lorenzo Amoruso has suggested that Rangers players are not doing enough, and there’s a ‘big problem’ at the moment with defending.
The former Gers defender has suggested that the midfield and the defence are not properly working well for Rangers as they suffered a mini-crisis.
The Bears have suffered two defeats in the Champions League already, against Ajax and Napoli.

“Unfortunately, the current side looks much less solid at the back,” said Amoruso, as quoted by Sunday Post (25 September, page 9).
“I do not think it is about the quality of the players, either, rather how they go about their job.
“My impression is that they are not helping each other enough. Everyone seems to be thinking about saving their own little bit of the garden. This is a big problem.”
Problems
There is no doubt that the Gers have made a stuttering start to the season.
They looked flat in most of their games and suffered a big 4-0 defeat against Celtic.
The defence is one area that really needs sorting.
In the summer, Rangers lost a key defender, Calvin Bassey, who moved to Ajax.
The Gers failed to replace him, properly. They did sign Ben Davies from Liverpool but he has failed to make a strong impact so far.

John Souttar who joined on a free transfer from Hearts has also struggled, mainly with fitness.
Van Bronckhorst has been forced to use James Sands at the back, and he has been very inconsistent so far.
The midfield issue is really a big problem. Glen Kamara is an experienced midfielder but he has let his team down on many occasions.
Having said that, nobody expects the Bears to progress through to the next round of the Champions League but the performance could have been a lot better.
In other Rangers news, Gary Keown has also slammed the Gers over the latest revelations.
