Predicted Rangers starting XI in crunch showdown v Dundee United
Rangers welcome Dundee United to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon (17 September) in what could prove to be a huge Scottish Premiership showdown.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has some big decisions to make with his own future potentially on the line with another negative result for the Bears.
Pressure is rising with each passing day in Govan, with big defeats against Celtic, Ajax and Napoli not going down well around Ibrox with the fans and others.
Allan McGregor will start again, and it is no shock after his heroics against Napoli, something which see him keep Jon McLaughlin on the bench long term once again.
James Tavernier and Connor Goldson haven’t covered themselves in glory recently, but they are fixtures of this side and they will continue at the back.
Ben Davies will come in though, with James Sands caught out numerous times, with Ridvan Yilmaz finally getting his chance ahead of Borna Barisic too.

The midfield will also see changes, but John Lundstram will continue in that holding role – although much higher than the deep role he has featured in recently.
Glen Kamara and Malik Tillman have points to prove, and in a game where we should dominate the ball much more, it could be perfect for them to bench the likes of Ryan Jack.
Ryan Kent will be on the name to keep his spot in the front three.
Scott Arfield is not capable of starting consecutive games and given he ran himself into the ground in midweek, it is time to get Fashion Sakala and his pace back into the side.
The big decision will be to drop Alfredo Morelos again, with Antonio Colak looking to put his perfect poaching on the line to get us all three points if needed on Saturday.
Six changes and a lot of pressure.
Here’s how we expect Rangers to line up at Ibrox as Van Bronckhorst fights for his job…
