TalkSPORT pundit shares Giovanni van Bronckhorst sack view after Rangers v Celtic

Adrian Durham did not hold back his punches after watching Celtic run out 4-0 winners against Rangers in the Old Firm derby on Saturday.

He believes that Giovanni van Bronckhorst could’ve been sacked at half-time after the shocking display against their rivals.

Gers never seemed to get out of second gear and were deservedly beaten on the day.

Rangers

Speaking to talkSPORT, Durham said, “Rangers are absolutely dreadful. If they hadn’t qualified for the Champions League, I think there’s every chance Giovanni van Bronckhorst could be sacked at half-time, they’ve been that bad.”

Take a break

To think that the Dutchman is the major cause of this result is baffling and reeks of ignorance from Durham.

He clearly has no idea how the board let him down after qualifying for the Champions League as they did not back him in the transfer market.

To compete with Chelsea, they clearly needed a better calibre of player and two or three good signings towards the end of the window were well within Rangers’ reach.

However, they did not sign even a single player and the results of that are evident for everyone to see.

Unfortunately, this piles the pressure on the manager rather than the decision makers behind the scenes at Ibrox who will ask questions of him should this continue.

Hopefully, we see a different Rangers side showing up in the Champions League as this is unacceptable and it cannot continue for long.

In other Rangers news, the BBC never seem to learn their lessons as they persist with their embarrassing anti-Rangers agenda.
