Celtic admin makes Rangers joke on Twitter after 4-0 defeat
The Celtic Twitter admin made a joke at full-time as they beat Rangers by a 4-0 scoreline in the SPFL in Saturday’s Old Firm derby.
Both sides went into the game on the back of some good form, with Gers particularly on a high after qualifying for the Champions League.
However, on the day, it was one team that showed up and it was not Glasgow Rangers but “Glasgow Celtic” as the Hoops’ Twitter handle shared.
Humiliating
Results and performances like this are never acceptable when it comes to Rangers Football Club.
After their recent successes, to fall to such an embarrassing defeat speaks volumes about the gulf in class between the two clubs.
The Gers board did not back Giovanni van Bronckhorst especially after securing Champions League qualification as he’s arguably gone into the season with a weaker squad.
Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey were two star players who had the ability of changing games and neither have been replaced by that calibre of player.
Surely, with the revenues of playing in Europe’s premier competition, they could’ve paid the wages of players who otherwise would’ve been out of reach.
Rangers would also be an attractive destination as they would offer Champions League football – something which some of the Premier League’s big clubs also are not able to.
Things cannot go on this way and there needs to be some chopping and changing behind the scenes as this is totally unacceptable.
In other Rangers news, the BBC never seem to learn their lessons as they persist with their embarrassing anti-Rangers agenda.
