Steven Davis sends message to Niko Katic after Rangers exit confirmed
Steven Davis has sent a brilliant message to Nikola Katic on Instagram after Rangers confirmed his departure on Wednesday (31 August).
He has left the club to join FC Zurich on a permanent deal, although the Bears didn’t disclose the amount.
The centre-back posted a message on Instagram after he made his move.

He wrote: “I am very happy that I belong to a part of the FCZ family. Can’t wait to play for the team.”
Davis wrote: “All the best big man.”
Good Luck
It’s sheer bad luck for Katic that his time at Rangers had come to an end.
He was one of the key players under Steven Gerrard and went on to make 59 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring six goals.
The defender did impress on loan at Hajduk Split and he was confident that he could play a part in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s system.
The summer has changed everything. Conor Goldson decided to stay put by signing a long-term deal, while Van Bronkhorst has been able to bring in quality players at the back, even after losing Calvin Bassey.

At the moment, Rangers are well-stocked in that area and considering that James Sands can also play in defence, the Dutchman has a wealth of options at his disposal.
On top of that, young Leon King is progressing at a tremendous rate, and Van Bronckhorst needs to offer him game time to continue his development.
Katic became surplus to requirements at the club, and a move away from Ibrox gives him an opportunity to reignite his career.
In other Rangers news, the BBC never seem to learn their lessons as they persist with their embarrassing anti-Rangers agenda.
