Rangers may now use £30million cash injection for late transfer push
Rangers are set to rake in £30million alone from their Champions League comeback this season, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [27 August, pg. 117] that the Bears may use that new cash injection for a late transfer push in the coming days.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has admitted that he is happy with the quality in his squad, but new arrivals are still yet to be ruled out by the manager and club.

Writing in their latest snippet on the Bears, the Scottish Daily Mail shared the plans at Ibrox after the big projected windfall set to come their way.
“Drawn in Group A alongside Liverpool, Ajax and Napoli, Rangers will back around £30million from their Champions League comeback,” they wrote.
“That income could yet be used to strengthen the squad ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, but Van Bronckhorst stressed he was pleased with the quality already at his disposal.”

Wow.
This is huge money, and it has only been made more special by the fact that Celtic were insistent they would be the only Scottish team in the Champions League.
Not only was it our work that got them there, but we will be joining them and likely outperforming them given our cracking record in Europe.
On top of the riches that last season brought in through our Europa League win, Rangers now have this £30million on top of it as the windfall continues to rise at Ibrox.
With now less than one week to go in the window, transfer talk has already begun.
Talks are set to be underway with Standard Liege now over a move for midfielder Nicolas Raskin, who is said to favour a move to Glasgow after our Champions League antics.
Not only has the success brought in big money, it also opens a new door in the transfer market, and it looks as though we are going to step through that in a matter of days.
