Rangers perfect for Billy Gilmour development – Berry Ferguson
Berry Ferguson believes that Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour should consider a move to Rangers instead of thinking about a switch within the Premier League.
The 21-year-old is highly rated in the football community and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club with the likes of Everton leading the chase.
Ferguson, while talking to Go Radio as quoted by Glasgowtimes suggested that a return to the Gers will be ideal for the youngster.

“They [Rangers] have not got bundles of money,” he said. “I mean, they are a very well-supported club, and it’s a fantastic crowd that go there, but they have not been spending fortunes to get the squad together.
“Would the Rangers fans love to see Billy Gilmour come back on loan to Rangers? I’m sure they would.
“I’m quite sure it would be a comfortable place for Billy to come, progress his career and get some game time. He could do well for the national team as well, and who is to say?
“I haven’t heard anything, but it wouldn’t be a bad option if Rangers were to slot him into the midfield to get him a game.”

Brilliant prospect
Rangers are going through a more than decent transfer window where they’ve made a number of important additions to the squad that finished the last season as the runners-up in the UEFA Europa League.
Despite all of those additions, at times, the Gers look like a team that are missing some final pieces in the jigsaw and that issue can very well be addressed with the addition of someone like Gilmour at the club.
The 21-year-old, in his short career in top-flight club football, has shown that he is not only good enough to hold his ground when the going gets tough but can also find a pass or two to break the defensive line of the opposition.
Therefore, manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst must do all in his power to bring the player to the Ibrox Stadium this summer as he has the ability to become a star for many more years to come.
In other Rangers news, Celtic and the Gers are at loggerheads over a record-breaking SPFL midfielder and a bid for him has already been tabled.
