Alan Brazil: Rangers face tough task to qualify for the Champions League group stage
Alan Brazil believes PSV Eindhoven are an excellent side and it will be a tough task for Rangers to qualify for the Champions League group stage.
The Gers head to Eindhoven with the tie still in the balance after they were held to a 2-2 draw at Ibrox by the Eredivisie side.
However, Brazil believes that Rangers now face a tough task to qualify for the group stage of Europe’s premier competition after being impressed with PSV.

Talking on talkSPORT Breakfast (18 August, 06:09) Brazil said: “I worry for Rangers in the second leg.
“PSV are a very good side and even when they were behind they still had something about them.
“They were big, they were quick, they were powerful and they moved the ball well.
“It will be a tough task but we’ve seen Rangers pull it out the bag before.”
Stanger things have happened
Rangers are capable of getting a result in Eindhoven having shown in the past their ability to pull a big European night out of the hat.
At times on Tuesday evening, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side completely overran PSV and carved them open at will, which was displayed perfectly in Antonio Colak’s equaliser on the stroke of halftime.
The Dutch side were happy to relinquish possession to the Gers at Ibrox, but that won’t be the case in the Netherlands next Tuesday (24 August).
This could well play into Rangers’ hands, with Ryan Kent and Malik Tillman potentially lethal on the counterattack.

Their pace could exploit any gaps that the home side leave and may be crucial in any hopes Rangers have of making it to the group stage.
It’s going to be a tough task, but the Gers have a history of being involved in a famous European night.
Let’s hope they can take their imperious Ibrox form in Europe onto the continent.
