Tom English shares instant reaction live on BBC as Rangers draw 2-2 v PSV Eindhoven
Tom English has insisted that Rangers were nowhere near their usual European standards in the 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday evening.
The Bears will travel to Holland level after the draw in Ibrox for the final leg which will decide if they have Champions League football this season.
English unleashed and dropped that Rangers were fortunate to go 2-1 up on the night with the away side playing better football before Tom Lawrence sent Ibrox wild.

Speaking live on the BBC coverage of the clash, as shared on their live blog, English was not exactly impressed with what he saw at Ibrox last night.
“Rangers were fortunate to be 2-1 up,” he said.
“PSV had the better of the second half. Rangers were nowhere near the level of performance we’ve seen against Braga, Leipzig Dortmund.”

Shocker.
English just can’t help himself, and he has to live in the past rather than looking at the here and now.
Rangers were in a completely different mode in the Europa League and this is completely different, with a 2-2 draw not the worst result at this moment in time.
It is a level playing field and one goal could be enough to send us into the Champions League, that is all we can ask for before jetting out to Holland.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst now has a decision to make this weekend with changes now expected before this game, as PSV simply have a rest from their domestic games.
That could make a huge difference, but we’re hoping that it keeps us in the swing of things better.
This tie is more than alive and as Antonio Colak mentioned in his post-match interview, we go into every game wanting to win, and it will only take one goal.
Let’s see how English reacts next week should we win, we wonder if it will be as negative.
In other Rangers news, Ross Wilson now has names lined up just in case Alfredo Morelos seals his exit this summer
