Ally McCoist fires back at Chris Sutton after Rangers argument over Champions League
Ally McCoist has fired back at Chris Sutton after his arguments over the upcoming Champions League qualifying fixtures for Rangers with PSV Eindhoven.
Sutton admitted there was too many people moaning after the Bears are being forced to play Scottish Premiership games either side of the ties, whereas the Dutch side have a weekend off.
McCoist hit back and labelled the former Celtic man as “Obsessed” with the Light Blues as he continues to make a habit of speaking about all matters at Ibrox.

Speaking live on BT Sports’ Scottish Football Extra, as previewed on Twitter, Sutton kickstarted the argument with his rose-tinted glasses on as usual.
“I can’t be doing with people whinging when there’s ample days and time in between for rangers to rest,” he said. “What is wrong with you?”
McCoist then hit back and made sure to get the one dig in that everyone knows to be true around Ibrox.
“I didn’t mention Rangers, you’re obsessed with Rangers.”
Embarrassing.
The only downside to the new season getting underway is having to listen to Sutton and his non-stop verdicts on everything Rangers, despite no one caring what he has to say.
McCoist was perfect here and gave us a good old laugh, simply stating the truth that his dear broadcasting friend is simply obsessed with matters at Ibrox.
Hopefully, having to play that extra fixture in between will help keep the squad in the rhythm of things during the early stages of the season.
It could backfire on PSV, who have already been labelled as lucky to get to this stage and the fact that both legs will be back-to-back for them could not be the best of things.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has a bigger squad to use this season, especially with the return of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos too in the past week, so watch out for that.
Sutton is clearly obsessed, but he may be the only one left whinging if we pull off yet another magical night on the European stage and seal our place in those group stages.
In other Rangers news, Ross Wilson now has names lined up just in case Alfredo Morelos seals his exit this summer
