Rangers could announce new signing after sealing Rabbi Matondo transfer
Rangers could reportedly make another announcement on Tuesday after securing the services of Rabbi Matondo from Schalke.
Vital Rangers journalist Graeme Hanna claimed that there could be an announcement or two today, before Matondo’s deal was made official.
Now that it has been announced, the club may be bracing themselves for two major signings on the same day.
Via Twitter, Hanna wrote, “The indications are that an announcement or two could follow from Ibrox today.
“Plane spotters, airport parking watchers, transfer junkies are all on full alert. Send it on.”

We all expected Matondo to be the first name through the door and he has been officially unveiled as a Rangers player.
He’s also spoken to the club’s media and Ross Wilson has waxed lyrical over him and explained the pursuit of the Wales international.
However, we do not know who the other signing is going to be and all we can do is predict which position it will be in.
The club have been eyeing central midfielders and could look to sign a full-back or two before the window shuts.
With Connor Goldson renewing, the club will probably not look for another centre-back with John Souttar also part of this new-look team.
Hopefully, Wilson has a few more tricks up his sleeve and he’s kept everyone guessing thus far as to who the next player through the door could be.
In other Rangers news, Celtic and the Gers are at loggerheads over a record-breaking SPFL midfielder and a bid for him has already been tabled.
