Leeds United unlikely to make move for Rangers attacker Ryan Kent amid Luis Sinisterra interest

Leeds United will reportedly not be looking to sign Rangers attacker Ryan Kent this summer as they’ve found an alternative.

According to the Scotsman, the Whites are on the cusp of completing a big-money move for Feyenoord attacker Luis Sinisterra.

This would mean that they’re unlikely to pursue the services of Kent while Gers themselves are unlikely to be open to a sale.

Good news

With Joe Aribo on his way to Southampton, Rangers cannot afford the loss of another key player this summer.

While they may be compensated heavily for their sales, roping in replacements is not going to be easy, regardless of the money.

The lack of Champions League football does not make the 55-time champions that attractive a prospect as Giovanni van Bronckhorst would’ve liked them to be.

Also, their hands are tied when it comes to Premier League sides taking away their best players and their manager as well.

Leeds not looking at Kent is a good thing as Gers desperately need to retain his services and also come to a conclusion over Alfredo Morelos.

The Colombian looks no closer to signing the deal that’s there on the table for him and if this goes on for a few more weeks, Gers may have a major problem on their hands as he’ll leave on a free in 12 months and they will have got nothing from his sale.

In other Rangers news, contract talks with a key player have hit a new impasse with a summer exit now on the cards.
