Rangers ace Alfredo Morelos' inner circle detail stance on Sevilla move
The inner circle of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos are reportedly open for the Colombian to move to Sevilla this summer.
According to Spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo, who have been in contact with people close to the 26-year-old, a move to the La Liga outfit would be welcomed by Morelos due to their constant participation in European football.
However, his official representatives insist that there’s nothing formal with the Spanish outfit as they are remaining coy over their client’s future.
Demand big money
Every transfer window we start to hear murmurs about Morelos being discontented at Ibrox for some reason or the other and that he’s looking to leave the club.
This summer, the SPFL outfit need to make sure that they manage to finally offload him if he’s not signing a new deal.
The club’s stance is clear and they want Morelos to commit his future to the club as he’s entering the final year of his contract.
However, he has only looked to delay signing an extension as he’s looking at all the options out there and will then make a decision.
Sevilla for obvious reasons would be a welcome destination for him as they’ve got a European winning pedigree and also regular Champions League appearances.
He would also be in the same league as Real Madrid and Barcelona who are giants of the footballing game and would certainly compete with better players than he does in Scotland.
For these reasons, the Spanish side will also have deeper pockets and Gers must capitalise on it and demand top dollar.
In other Rangers news, contract talks with a key player have hit a new impasse with a summer exit now on the cards.
