Rangers set to consider bids for Joe Aribo amid interest from Crystal Palace and Fulham
Rangers will reportedly consider offers for Joe Aribo as they are unlikely to sell him on the cheap this summer.
According to Rangers Review, the Ibrox giants are aware of the interest shown in his services, especially from Premier League clubs like Crystal Palace and Fulham.
A move to London would appeal to him as he’s a London lad and likes to be surrounded by family which opens the door for the aforementioned club.
Set to leave?
Aribo clearly would like to be around his family so a move to London would be something that he definitely would consider.
However, Gers know that if he is to leave, he is not going on the cheap as many players have in the past.
They plan to make the club self sustainable and that can only happen if they sign players for cheap and sell them for inflated fees.
Aribo is an asset regardless of what others think of him and clubs keen on him know that he’s a game changer who can turn things in the blink of an eye.
He may not have the recognition as someone like James Tavernier or Alfredo Morelos would but he’s a utility player that improves many Premier League playing elevens.
He’s a fan favourite at Ibrox so there will be that extra urgency to retain his services, but if he wants to leave, few can stand in his way.
In other Rangers news, contract talks with a key player have hit a new impasse with a summer exit now on the cards.
