Rangers in talks over new deal for goalkeeper Allan McGregor
Allan McGregor is in line for a new deal at Rangers, according to The Daily Record.
The Gers are looking to offer a one-year contract extension to the 40-year-old shot-stopper.
Ross Wilson is currently in talks with the player over the new deal.

oaching, and it will be a deal similar to what the Bears offered to Jermain Defoe.
Smart decision
It’s a very good decision from the Gers to keep hold of an experienced player like McGregor.
The likes of Steven Davis and Connor Goldson have already penned new deals at the club, and it seems McGregor will soon join the list.
He was superb last season, playing a big role in taking the Gers to the Europa League final.
However, there were doubts whether he would hang up his boots, but it seems he is still fit enough to continue for one more season.

McGregor has spent 15 years as part of the first time squad over two spells. He came through the youth ranks at the club and was hailed by Barry Ferguson as a “top player” while speaking to Go Radio’s Football Show on 17 March, earlier this year.
His vast experience is vital for the Ibrox side as Giovanni van Bronckhorst looks to rebuild the squad in the summer.
It can well happen that McGregor may not be guaranteed the starting position at the club, and he could be used as a back-up for Jon McLaughlin.
