Rangers will miss Steven Gerrard’s legend pull in summer transfer window
Rangers are going to severely miss former manager Steven Gerrard and his legend status in the summer transfer window.
The Aston Villa boss has already shown how impactful he can be during his short stint in the Premier League.
The Lions are a relatively small club as it stands, a sleeping giant if you wish, but the Scouser has been able to sign some brilliant players.

Lucas Digne, Philippe Coutinho, Boubacar Kamara, and Diego Carlos are some of the brilliant talents he has been able to help attract.
Gerrard played a key role in getting potentially their biggest signing over the line, Kamara, with the youngster admitting how big of a role the Liverpool legend played in his decision whilst speaking to RMC Sport.
It is a huge blow not having the pulling power of a manager with his status – especially after their European success – and the Light Blues might wish they can turn back time and keep him at the club depending on how the window does.
The show goes on.
At the end of the day, Gerrard is gone and Rangers haven’t struggled half as much as people thought they would without him.
Van Bronckhorst did a wonderful job of replacing him which nobody expected and hopefully, he can emulate that in the transfer window.

The Bears are a huge club, that cannot be understated – they will have more than enough pull by themselves but having an icon in your corner would go a long way as the Glaswegians look to undergo a rebuild ahead of next season.
They had a superb season fighting on all fronts but just fell short of the big accolades. Things might feel very different as the supporters look to next season had they beaten Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final and not been trumped by Rangers to the league title – but the truth is, this squad is in dire need of attention.
Last season’s success papered over the cracks in the squad but the fact the campaign could have been even more successful and the lack of squad depth was the defining factor in why it wasn’t is a huge incentive for a busy summer.
In other Rangers news, a Sky journalist has predicted a big-name player to be done at Rangers after his Instagram post.
