Michael Bridge tips Aaron Ramsey to leave Rangers at end of loan deal
Michael Bridge has admitted that he doesn’t believe that Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey will remain at Rangers next season.
The 31-year-old joined the Gers on loan from the Old Lady in January, but his future remains uncertain with the deal expiring at the end of May.
With him only being involved in four goals in 13 appearances for the Light Blues, Bridge believes his days at Ibrox are over.
The Welshman’s most recent Instagram post has also led many to believe he will leave the Bears once his contract expires.
Bridge told GIVEMESPORT:“I don’t think he will be back. We’ve seen a player who has had niggly injuries for his whole time there. He couldn’t get a run going, so I would be surprised [if he stayed].
“He put up an Instagram post on Sunday and it read to me like it was a bit of a goodbye. He hasn’t come here and been that consistent.”

Underwhelming.
It would be no surprise to see Ramsey leave at the end of his loan deal. When he joined in January he was compared to the likes of Paul Gascoigne and tipped to be a star at Ibrox but it hasn’t really worked out that way.
Coming to Glasgow with a serious lack of match fitness having rotted on the bench at Juventus massively hindered him. A series of frustrating injuries seemingly every time he seemed to gather some momentum did him absolutely no favours either.
It was a brilliant loan deal with the Serie A giants still covering the bulk of his wages during his time with the Gers but unfortunately, Ramsey hasn’t reached his full potential with his Europa League final penalty miss very fitting to his time in Scotland.
It would be amazing if he stayed but the Bears most likely wouldn’t be able to fork over the ridiculous wages he would likely demand.
In other Rangers news, Charlie Nicholas has tipped Rangers to sell a key man to fund their summer rebuild – he would be “amazed” if he is not sold in the summer.
