Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger confirms he will miss Rangers clash
Rangers will face German side Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final in Sevilla on May 18.
According to a report from The Bild, the German side will be missing their key defender, Martin Hinteregger, for this game.
The 29-year-old is a leader at the back, but he has now confirmed that he will miss out.

The defender picked up a serious thigh injury but Frankfurt was hoping that he would “miraculously” recover in time.
However, as it stands, it could take him until July to return to full fitness.
“Whether this takes three, four or six weeks is not important at first, because after that there is vacation anyway. I’m in top shape again to prepare,” the defender said to Bild.
“I hadn’t had this kind of injury before. That’s why I noticed right away on the court that’s it. The diagnosis was actually only the confirmation of the feeling.”
Focus
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst won’t be fussed with the news coming out of the German camp.
Whatever be the team, this is a one-off game, and he will want his players to stick to the game plan.
The Gers probably will be booted by this news, but they should focus on other things.
Rangers are also sweating on the fitness of striker Kemar Roofe, but in all probability, he will join the squad for the massive game.

Likewise, Ryan Jack and Joe Aribo also picked up injuries prior to the final, but Giovanni van Bronckhorst is likely to throw both on them on the pitch, even if they are half-fit.
This is a massive game for the club. The players will realise that the final of the Europa League doesn’t come on a regular basis, so they will have to make it memorable.
Rangers lost the league title against Celtic, but they can end the season on a high by winning a European competition.
