Rangers team news: Kemar Roofe returns to starting line-up v Leipzig
Kemar Roofe is set to return to the Rangers starting line-up to face RB Leipzig on Thursday, according to the German newspaper Bild.
The newspaper claim that Amadou Haidara is the only absentee for the German club with a knee injury.
In that report, they add that Roofe has now been picked for the starting line-up after returning from injury.
The Daily Record reported today that the Dutch boss is facing a huge selection decision ahead of the second leg.
Both Kemar Roofe and Aaron Ramsey have been picked in the provisional squad but there were doubts whether they could feature today.
However, if the information from Bild is true, it seems Roofe will return to the starting line-up in tonight’s massive semi-final clash.
RB Leipzig have taken a slender 1-0 lead into the semi-final after a gritty defensive display by the Scottish champions in Germany.
Rangers lacked a focal point in their attack in the previous round against Leipzig and as a result, they have struggled in Germany.
Van Bronckhorst will wait till the last minute to give the duo a chance to get fit and play their part.
Neither of the two have made an appearance since picking up injuries in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden over Celtic.
Getting Roofe back in the starting line-up will increase the Gers’ chances of scoring and winning tonight.
