Rangers advertise for recruitment analyst ahead of summer transfer plans

Rangers are set to go ahead with planning for this summer’s upcoming transfer window after advertising for a key recruitment role.

On Training Ground Guru’s website, the Light Blues have advertised for a recruitment analyst to join the club and aid the team’s summer plans.

The job post reads: “Working in conjunction with the Sporting Director, the Head of Scouting and the club’s insights team, the remit of the Recruitment Analyst is to maximise the impact data has on our talent identification process.

“The aim is to provide contextual insights that support our recruitment process.”

The January transfer window saw Aaron Ramsey take the headlines but he was the only major incoming who has regularly featured for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.

Amad Diallo hasn’t hit the heights he was expecting and Mateusz Zukowski is one more for the future than right now.

Big window

This summer could be one of the most crucial for Rangers with some very significant contracts expiring and van Bronckhorst has to get every decision right.

Ramsey may be available to return once more but a deal will largely depend on the massive wages he could demand and any transfer fee that Juventus may want for the Welshman.

Diallo looks set to leave for a return to Manchester United but the more worrying area is the contract scenario with Alfredo Morelos and Connor Goldson.

Both players will enter the final year of their current Ibrox deals next season with ambitions of playing elsewhere and the club may have to be resigned to losing them both before the start of next season.

Whoever comes in as the new recruitment analyst must make a very fast start at Ibrox as it could be their decision that sees the next Rangers great enter the club for the first time.

In other Rangers news, the Light Blues have been excluded from an SPFL commercial deal that the rest of the division is involved in.
