Barry Ferguson outlines ‘real danger’ for Rangers ahead of Old Firm clash
Barry Ferguson has expressed his “worry” for Rangers ahead of their Scottish Cup semi-final clash against Celtic on Sunday [April 17].
The former Gers ace believes that Hoops forward Kyogo’s quality can be a “real danger” to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s defence.
Kyogo has scored 21 goals across all competitions for the Bears’ Glaswegian rivals with Ferguson admitting he wishes he wasn’t in the squad.

Speaking on Go Radio via the Daily Record, he said: “In terms of a Rangers point of view, it is a worry, I think he is a top player, he causes teams so many problems.
“Not just with the quality he has got on the ball, it’s off the ball, his movement is exceptional.
“It looks to me the way Postecoglou is talking that he’ll be in from the start and that’s one player Rangers need to keep an eye because he is a real danger.
Ferguson jokingly added: “I’d prefer if he wasn’t in the 18.
“I rate him so highly, I didn’t know anything about him, probably like many people, he has impressed me so much.
“The first half of the season, just his goalscoring, he does the dirty side brilliantly, his movement inside the box is exceptional as well.”
Must win.
Rangers simply have to win this game. Celtic have beaten them convincingly on the last couple of encounters with the most recent Ibrox defeat absolutely crushing for the Gers.

Retaining the title is now very unlikely for the Bears and if they want to have any sort of bragging rights on what will be their very noisy neighbours come the end of the season, they have to win the Scottish Cup.
The winner of the Old Firm semi-final will undoubtedly go on to win the trophy with either Hearts or Hibernian nowhere near good enough to cause an upset in the final.
Ferguson is spot on. Containing the Hoops’ dangerous forward men will be key to winning the tie.
The Light Blues have proven they can do it in Europe and now it is time to do it domestically.
Despite making it to the semi-final of the Europa League. Van Bronckhorst’s side will understand how hard it will be to win the competition which makes Sunday that much more important.
In other Rangers news, BBC pundit has been left in awe of the Gers’ Europa League journey after the Braga win.
