Aaron Ramsey spends £30k in search of fitness, Rangers return timeframe mooted
The start of Aaron Ramsey’s time at Rangers has not been what anybody hoped or envisaged but he is going to great lengths to try and turn things around.
According to the Scottish Sun, the Welsh international has spent £30,000 of his own money to fly specialist physios from across the world to Glasgow in an attempt to get fit as soon as possible.
The 31-year-old has missed the previous five games for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side after aggravating a calf issue against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.

The Scottish Sun claim that Ramsey could be back to fitness within a week or even sooner thanks to the intense “around the clock” rehab work he and the physios had been putting in.
He could even make the squad for tomorrow’s game against Aberdeen with a decision to be made today (Friday 4 March).
Committed
Whatever you think of Ramsey’s limited time on the pitch in the blue of Rangers so far, you cannot fault his commitment to the club and getting back fit.
Sure, £30,000 is probably less than a day’s work for the Welshman given his enormous contract at Juventus but it is still a big jump to spend that much on flying other people into the country just to get back a week or two early.

If that is what we can expect from Ramsey on the pitch as well, then he will very quickly become a guaranteed starter when fit and that is a tantalising prospect for fans of the Light Blues.
Seeing him alongside Aribo and Kamara in a midfield three would put copious amounts of fear into whoever may be up against the Gers that week.
van Bronckhorst will have surely dreamt of such a trio dominating the Scottish Premiership and he will be itching to get the 31-year-old back to try it out.
In other Rangers news, the club could pocket a seven-figure sum in November after a major announcement this week.
