Jim White reacts as Fabrizio Romano reports Rangers deal for Aaron Ramsey done
Jim White has been left stunned as Rangers get set to announce the loan signing of Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Fabrizio Romano has shared the huge news that the announcement is imminent, with his famous “here we go” message in the past few minutes.
It is reported that the Bears will also have an option to buy Ramsey at the end of this season at Ibrox.
Romano tweeted the following: “Aaron Ramsey from Juventus to Rangers, done deal and here we go,” he wrote. “Agreement on loan with buy option. Ramsey will sign in the coming hours.”
White was stunned taking to his personal Twitter account, with joyous scenes expected around Ibrox this evening.
“Wow,” he exclaimed. “It’s happening, Ramsey to Rangers.”
Wow.
White has every right to be stunned, he is like every single Rangers fan out there at this moment in time.
If you would have told us five years ago that we would be signing a player on £400,000-a-week wages, we would have laughed, if not possibly cried.
Ramsey needs to redeem all those years he lost at Juventus, and what better way to do that then by helping the mighty Bears bring home another title and maybe even more silverware?
Celtic are getting ahead of themselves after a couple of wins, but imagine the boost this Light Blues squad will get when a deal of this magnitude is announced.
The Welshman will likely even make his debut in the Old Firm on Wednesday evening, we would be even more stunned with a winner there – fingers crossed.
