Ibrox chiefs in overdrive for Rangers to sign Mateusz Zukowski, only formalities left to go – report
Ibrox chiefs are pulling out all of the stops for Rangers to sign Lechia Gdansk defender Mateusz Zukowski, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper have reported in their print edition (31 January) that the Bears are in pole position to fight off Polish giants Legia Warsaw.
It is reported now that only the formalities are left to iron out before Zukowski is announced at Ibrox as officials at the club target the 20-year-old.

With only the formalities to go, it looks like a matter of time before this move is announced on social media.
Legia Warsaw will be a huge pull for young Polish players, but going to Ibrox is a big step in the career of Zukowski.
Given that Ross Wilson has made a big push to get this deal over the line, the player and his entourage will be thankful for his efforts.

Formalities.
Sky Sports have already reported that Zukowski is now in Glasgow, so there aren’t any complications with COVID-19 or travel.
That means it should just be signing on the dotted line of the contract and completing his media obligations before we get confirmation.
Hopefully, this one is done early today and it will then open the door to many more deals between now and the end of play this evening.
Ibrox Chiefs are mentioned as those pulling out the stops, with little mention of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
With James Sands being used as a midfielder since arriving, it was clear that the American wasn’t here to play at right-back.
That issue is now set to be resolved, with Zukowski set to be the first name through the door at Ibrox today.
