Rangers to make deadline-day push to sign John Souttar on permanent deal – report
Rangers are set to make a deadline-day offer to sign Hearts defender John Souttar, according to The 4th Official.
The Scotland international has already signed a pre-contract deal at Ibrox for the summer, but things could change in the next 24 hours.
The reliable source, who works closely with Fabrizio Romano, have shared that a bid is expected to be made to bring him to Glasgow this month.

Writing on their Patreon page on Sunday evening (30 January, 7:36 pm), the 4th Official shared what is expected at Ibrox.
“Also, the expectation is that Rangers will go back with another bid for John Souttar.”

Get it done.
This is one deal that simply has to get done.
Watching our defending against Ross County on Saturday afternoon was embarrassing, and a shadow of our former selves.
The Bears have already conceded more goals this season than they did in the previous invincible campaign.
Calvin Bassey has been forced to fill in centrally due to injuries to Leon Balogun and Filip Helander, and despite impressing, Saturday proved an out-and-out centre-half is needed.
Souttar is that man.
The colossus not only can get stuck in, but he loves the ball at his feet pushing forward in possession and kickstarting attacks.
Of course, it’s brilliant that he is coming in the summer, but getting a deal over the line tomorrow would be a huge much-needed boost in this title race.
