Rangers close to signing free-agent defender Johnly Yfeko – report
Rangers are closing in on the signing of free-agent defender Johnly Yfeko, according to The 4th Official.
In a Patreon post (28 January, 2:33 pm), the reliable source, who work closely with Fabrizio Romano, shared that the former Leicester talent is at Auchenhowie.
Leading on from that, Yfeko has already trained with his new teammates ahead of the move being confirmed in the coming days.

Writing on their Patreon page, The 4th Official shared the news of an imminent announcement at Ibrox.
“Rangers are close to signing former Leicester City left-back Johnly Yfeko,” they wrote. “The player is just 18 and is currently a free agent
“The left-footed defender can also play at the centre of the defence if required. This seems likely to be a signing for the B team at the moment.
“Yfeko is currently in Glasgow and practised today at the training centre.”

Another one.
Rangers are working hard to get deals over the line, and it looks as though they have struck gold already.
Yfeklo has recently left Leicester in the Premier League, and it looks as though he is following the same path as Calvin Bassey as he makes the move north to Glasgow.
Bassey will have shown Yfeklo that there is a clear path to the first-team at Ibrox and could help cover the space left by Nathan Patterson.
Van Bronckhorst throwing him straight into training is a good sign too, although it is unclear whether or not he has the chance to quickly progress from the B team.
Those groups are close-knit, either way, so Yfeklo will appreciate that atmosphere on his first day at Auchenhowie.
Getting this one across the line so quickly after the loan arrival of Amad Diallo is pleasing, and also opens the door for more business before Monday’s deadline.
