Stephen Craigan destroys Rangers ace Juninho Bacuna v Stirling Albion
Stephen Craigan has destroyed Rangers midfielder Juninho Bacuna for his efforts in the Scottish Cup victory against Stirling Albion.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst handed the summer signing a rare start at Ibrox but was clearly left unimpressed with his efforts.
Craigan noticed that the manager threw his arms up in the air in frustration at “really sloppy” play from Bacuna.
Speaking during live coverage of the game on Premier Sports last night, Craigan was not left impressed with the midfielder.
“Giovanni van Bronckhorst threw his arms up in the air to that,” he said.
“It was a really sloppy play from Bacuna.”
Craigan, a regular on BT Sports watching the Bears in Europe, is spot on with this one and something just isn’t quite right.
Bacuna was a strange signing at Ibrox, and he has never really made a positive impact any time he has stepped onto the pitch.
Steven Gerrard brought him to the club from Huddersfield, but never really used him, and that has continued under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
There is an arrogance to his game that is usually found in the best players, but he is nowhere near that level and continuously gave the ball away against Stirling Albion.
Something needs to click quickly for Bacuna, or he could be facing the prospect of another move in the near future.
