Confirmed Rangers starting XI v Stirling Albion
Rangers have confirmed their starting XI for the Scottish Cup clash against Stirling Albion on Friday evening.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has decided to ring the changes to his side, after the disappointing 1-1 draw at Aberdeen.
Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Bears have handed starts to the likes of Jack Simpson and Brandon Barker, despite both being heavily linked with exits.
This is a real opportunity ahead of some big games coming up.
Rangers have the likes of Celtic, Hearts and Hibernian coming up, and we cannot afford to be dropping any more points in the Scottish Premiership.
The draw at Aberdeen was an off-night, and the officials certainly didn’t help, but this cup appearance should come at the perfect time.
A big win with plenty of goals would be perfect for confidence and really catapult us into this run of fixtures ahead.

Rotation.
Van Bronckhorst hasn’t had much chance to switch his team around with some big games since he arrived at Ibrox.
Now that chance has come, it is time for those players in the background to step up and be counted against a Stirling Albion side who will be desperate for an upset.
We saw last night that Hibernian needed extra time to beat Cove Rangers at home, and that is just added minutes that are unnecessary.
It’s time to put Sterling to bed early and make this a very professional performance – nothing more will be accepted.
In other Rangers news, the Bears want to sign an ‘incredible’ attacker who has bagged four assists in one game this season
