Rangers facing more bids for Borna Barisic, reps touting defender around Europe – report
Rangers are preparing for more bids for Borna Barisic before the end of the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
Watford have already seen a £2million bid knocked back for the Croatian international, with the Ibrox board not accepting offers on the cheap.
It has now been reported that Barisic’s representatives are touting his name around Europe and south of the border for interest.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has already lost Nathan Patterson during this window, so it looks unlikely another defender will leave.
Watford’s £2million bid was simply embarrassing, and even offensive to Rangers and their progress over the years.
The valuation is said to be more than double that at £5million, but it most likely won’t be the Londoners who pay that [Sun].
They have since signed Hassane Kamara from OCG Nice, meaning their hunt for a new left-back has since disappeared.

Touting.
Is there something wrong behind the scenes here?
Why would Barisic’s representatives be pushing his name around Europe and the English Premier League if he didn’t want an exit at the earliest opportunity?
The Croatian is still playing every single week at Ibrox under Van Bronckhorst, so there shouldn’t be an issue on that front.
£5million is still low in our opinion for a title-winning left-back with big experience in Europe, and that should be knocked back by any club, too.
It will be interesting to see what happens over the next three weeks, and if any more bids come flying in from the continent or south of the border, could we be losing another one?
