Giovanni van Bronckhorst likely to want one more Rangers signing before end of winter break
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is likely to want one more major Rangers signing finalised before the end of the winter break.
That’s according to the Daily Record, who report that James Sands could be joined by another new face against Aberdeen next Tuesday.
It is said that a winger is now high on the priority list for the Bears during this month, with other pre-contract moves on the table.

Writing in their latest piece this morning (08 January), the Daily Record shared what the plan is at Ibrox over the next week.
“The winter break has flown in and we’re now a week and change away from Rangers ‘ defence of the Premiership continuing,” they wrote.
“And Gio van Bronckhorst will likely hope to have at least one more signing tied up before the trip to Pittodrie next Tuesday.”
Over to you, Ross.
It isn’t clear what type of signing could be wrapped up this week.
Pre-contract moves for John Souttar and Danilho Doekhi are on the table, with the Hearts defender looking set to make up his mind first.
The Daily Record have already reported that the Scotland international will make his final decision next week before putting pen-to-paper on his next move.
Even if the Bears announce they have won that race, he won’t be arriving at Ibrox until the summer, unless something can be negotiated with Hearts.
A new winger arriving instantly on a permanent deal would be the preference, and who knows? They could make all the difference at Pittodrie.
