David Edgar: Rangers to complete early January business, could also land last-gasp signing
Rangers are expected to land one last-gasp major new signing in the January transfer window, according to David Edgar.
Speaking on the Heart and Hand, Edgar shared that some pieces of business will be concluded early after James Sands arrived on Wednesday.
After that, the official club partner insisted that situations are fluid in January and changes could lead to a big signing as the month progresses.

Speaking on the Heart and Hand Patreon this week, Edgar mooted when the Bears may look to complete their business this month.
“I think there’s a few pieces of business done early,” he said. “Then, I can see a quiet middle of the month.
“Then, maybe, and I say I’m not 100%, maybe there may be something towards the end of the window.
“I think there will be some stuff that happens this week, and then if you were asking me to put money on it, there probably won’t be anything happening until later in the window.
“The situation is fluid, it will change, it will develop. I don’t think people are expecting half a dozen in.”

Busy Wilson.
Ross Wilson is set for a very busy January, and we’re only one full week into the window as things stand.
Sands arriving is looking as though it is going to kick things off very nicely, with the big-money sale of Nathan Patterson clearly helping.
There is no one better than the Bears in January, with big pre-contract deals on the table and read to be taken advantage of.
That could be what Edgar is insinuating when talking about other imminent pieces of business, with a last-gasp move this month surely a permanent or loan deal.
A winger and a centre half look likely, but could another rihgt-back be on the cards to replace Patterson’ depth?
The possibilities are clearly endless.
