Edgar said on Twitter: “Nothing in the Skov Olsen rumours. Rangers haven’t submitted a bid.”

What’s brewing?

The report from Tutto Bologna Web claimed that Rangers are looking to match Bologna’s demands for the Denmark international who has been tracked by other clubs as well.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants to bolster his squad in January and signing an attacker could be one of his priorities.

It has been claimed that the 22-year-old is open to leaving Bologna in January to get regular games, but whether Rangers can lure him to Ibrox remains to be seen.

Olsen has a contract at the club till 2024 and The Scottish Daily Mail claimed that GvB has “refused to rule out a deal” for the exciting talent.

Van Bronckhorst has made a dream start at Ibrox, winning seven league games in a row, but January window could throw a different set of challenges.

Skov Olsen is a right-sided winger, who has made 16 appearances in Serie A, managing two assists.

He has got fantastic technical abilities and would bring different qualities to what Rangers already have.

In other Rangers news, the club are set to announce a major signing this week with a big development on the cards in the next 48 hours
