Sky Sports journalist shares what Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants in January for Rangers
Mark Benstead has shared live on Sky Sports that Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants a new attacking wide option at Rangers in January.
The Sky reporter has also questioned whether a new right-back will also be on the wishlist as Nathan Patterson closes in on a move to Everton.
The Toffees are set to receive up to £16million for the youngster, which is likely to be partly pumped back into the squad this month.

Speaking live on Sky Sports News this morning (03/01/2022), Benstead shared what Van Bronckohrst is currently looking for.
“It suggests now what Giovanni van Bronckhorst does because of that change to his squad,” he said.
“Does he look to bring in cover at right-back? They’ve only really got James Tavernier and Leon Balogun who could slot in but it’s not his natural position.
“He already wants to bring someone in attacking wide areas, does he now need to look at more players because of that departure?”

Get it done.
The revival of Ryan Kent from his poor start to the season proves just how effective an out-and-out winger can be under Van Bronckhorst.
Scott Wright has impressed at times, but the likes of Ianis Hagi have struggled with the demand to play wider in the final third.
Bringing in another winger could be critical, and with the sale of Patterson, the money will be there for it to be done.
On top of that, bringing in another young full-back such as the linked James Sands could also be perfect, as more cover for James Tavernier is needed.
Benstead has shared the update on Sky Sports in the past hour, so it looks as though a new winger will be first through the door at Ibrox.
